Circus acts and School

Please note that this will be a circus school arena, not a day care or baby-sitting facility!

Our Circus School is not only about testing your own skills such as balancing and hand / eye co-ordination. It is also about great fun and entertainment for both young and old.

(Please note that Gerard and Ricky will not be dressed as Clowns when booked to do the Circus School and Show)

Birthday Party Packages available:

The Circus School can be booked for one or two hours at birthday parties but without the fencing, center pole and drapes. To erect the fencing, center pole and drapes takes two hours and it takes another two hours to break it down. This takes way too long for just a two hour booking. Should you want the whole setup with fencing, center pole and drapes, we will do it but the full corporate rate will then be charged. We will need vehicle access to the performance area as our trailer forms part of the setup.

Requirements:

-Space: 16m x 12m outdoors for full setup

-Space: 16m x 12m x 2,5m high indoors for entrance, fencing and equipment (No center pole and drapes)

-Space: 8m x 8m indoors or outdoors for equipment only. (No fencing, center pole and drapes)

-Flat and level grass or carpeted area

-We need vehicle access to the performance area when booking the Circus School with full setup or with fencing as our trailer   forms part of the setup.

Very important information:

-When booked for indoor events, we will not be able to erect the center pole with drapes. The center pole needs to be anchored into the ground for safety. We will still be able to set up the fencing if the height requirement is met.

-Should we arrive at the venue and the area is not flat and level, we might not be able to erect the fencing, center pole and drapes. We cannot set up on a slope or uneven surface.

-We will not set up the Circus School on dusty grounds, stones, sand, tar, paved, slippery, tiled or cement surfaces. This is not safe and might cause injury to participants and damage to our equipment.

-Depending on the terrain, some of the equipment might not be safe to use and will be removed from the Circus School without any prior notification. Instructors reserve the right to use their own discretion on what is safe and what is not.

-Gerard the Clown Events and Entertainment or any other person connected with Gerard the Clown Events and Entertainment will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury sustained by any person or their property in connection with the use of any of our equipment at a function

Duration: 6 Hours
